First off can you tell who Paige and i are dressed up as on the left there? The flags on top of our heads should give it away.... 
or ya know, the writing on our hats...

I swear everyone looked at us and asked "who are you??"
REALLY!!? 
Well, anyway... we should have won the costume contest at this shin-dig here at our apartment complex, but some other "little trips" that dressed up as "black and yellow"
and all they did was paint their faces... won. :(
They Cheated. 
Not cool.

Or our roomates should have one! Especially my roomie in the Mc-Fries costume....
THAT'S AWESOME, RIGHT!?! 
and the three blind mice are just the funniest. 
I Love my roomates. 
Got so blessed this year.

Week UNO!

The best way to start my project? UM YEAH, the gorgeous Salt Lake Temple!!!

This was SUCH a Good night!

This was in the evening just after second session of General Conference on Saturday. 

I sat at a bench at City Creek Center and captured this shot, while my BFF Paige was buying some Michael Kors. 

I think sometimes the Lord makes your feet hurt so you can get pretty pictures of the temple. Or in Paige's case, so you can get pretty shoes at a discount price. 
Either way... we both done good that night. :)

The BEST part about that night was of course the best session of Conference... 

"I'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. 

I love it."

Paige scored us some Awesome tickets for this session and we went with her brother and sister, "our little family."  

I really love photography, and even though i don't have a fancy camera yet... YET,

i've learned that you can still take some pretty awesome pictures with just a simple point and shoot camera. 

My purpose? To capture great shots of the things i'm most grateful for.

So here's a year in my life. 

A year in my completely random life.
